Thornbury & District Museum The Thornbury and District Heritage Trust has been operating as a museum since 1986 and first gained Accredited status in 2009, and has since maintained that status.In addition to the Museum’s own website, it now has a separate page on Facebook.  Click here to link to that site
Scribes Alcove This site was designed to allow visitors to search baptism, marriage and burial indexes extracted from Gloucestershire parishes around Berkeley and Thornbury.  Unfortunately the site was closed down in February 2019 and is no longer accessible.  We are gradually adding records copied from the Thornbury Parish records to this website.  Check under ‘Parish Records’ on the menu bar.
Thornbury Grammar School This site contains photographs and information about the history of the school, its staff and pupils.  A really nostalgic experience for Old Thornburians.
