Chancel In memory of Mary, the wife of Richard Giles, senior of Kington, Gent. who died March 23rd 1718, aged 79 years.


Also here lyeth the Body of Ann Giles, granddaughter of the said Richard and Ann Giles of Kington, who died the 11 day of April 1721, aged six Years and 5 Months.

Chancel floor Here resteth the Body of Sarah, the daughter of Richard and Mary Giles, Gent, of Kington in this Parish, who departed this Life, October the 18th and was buried the 23rd 1702, aged 23 years.
Chancel (brass) In memory of Richard Giles of Kington in this Parish, Gent, who was buried Jany. 22, 1723.  Aged 48 years.
Chancel (brass) Here lyeth the Body of Richard Giles of Kington, Gent, who died the 25th Decr. 1714.  Age 76.


In memory of Sarah, widow of Thomas Barton, and daughter of Richard and Ann Giles, late of Kington, Gent who died 26 day of July 1788.  Aged 74 years.

Stafford Chapel To the Glory of God and the dearly loved memory of Geraldine Henrietta Townshend Mundy and Hugh Hodgson Gillett M.A., this dossal and curtains were presented to Thornbury Church. E.M.G.G. B.St. J.M.
North Wall In memory of Daniel Gingell Esqr. M.D. of this Parish who died Feby. 7th 1860 aged 79.


Also of Anne his wife who died January 29th 1870 aged 88 years.


Also of Mary Raymond their Daughr. widow of William Vawdrey died Oct. 29th 1914.  Aged 95.


Also of Julia Raymond, Daughr. Of Daniel Gingell Junr. M.D. died April 18th 1916.  Aged 66.

North Wall In memory of William Raymond Gingell Esqr. Surgeon Major H.E.I.C.S. Her Britanic Majesty’s Consul who died at Hankow, China August 10th 1863, aged 46.  Third son of Daniel Gingell M.D. of this Parish.
North Wall In this Aisle lie the Remains of John, eldest son of Daniel Gingell M.D. of Morton and grandson of John Cullimore Esq. who died April XXlll MDCCCXXlX aged XX years.


Also of Daniel, second son of Daniel Gingell M.D. who departed this life at Lemington in Hants Jany. lV MDCCCLlll, aged XLlll.


And also of Raymond, youngest son of Daniel Gingell M.D. who died in Jamaica July 11th 1860, aged 39; buried at Chapelton in that Island.

Chancel Here lyeth the Body of Joseph Glover, who died in the Lord on December the 2nd Anno Dom. 1715.  Aged 63 years.

Also under this stone lyeth the Body of Margaret, the wife of the above said Joseph Glover, who departed this Life, in the year of our Lord 1722.  Aged 80 years.


And also under this stone lieth the Body of Anne, the wife of Peter Dore, of this Town, Apothecary, and daughter of the above said Joseph and Margaret Glover, who departed this Life, January the 13th 1755.  Aged 72 years.

North Wall In loving memory Edward Mills Grace, M.R. C.S., Eng. L.R.C.P. Edin. L.S.A. Coroner for the Lower Division of Gloucestershire, who practised in this District for 43 Years.  He died May 20th 1911 Aged 69 Years.  And was buried at Downend his birth-place.
Tell me the old, old story.  “Christ Jesus makes thee whole.”
North Wall In loving memory Edward Mills Grace M.B. Ch.B. Capt. R.A.M.C.  Grandson of the above. Born at Thornbury 5th June 1915.  Died on active Service in Italy 14th March 1944.  

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

 
Chancel Here lie interr’d the Bodies of Joseph and Mary and two Anns, son and daughters of Ralph Grove, Vicar of this parish who died in their infancy.


Also here lieth the Body of Ralph Grove, A.M. late vicar of this parish.  He died September the 29th 1728.  Aged 54 years.


Also Mary, his wife and daughter of Joseph Glover of this town, Apothecary.  She died Sept. the 19th 1733 aged 50 years.


Also here lieth the Body of William Grove, Apothecary, son of the above said Ralph Grove and Mary, his wife, who deceased January the 3rd, 1749.  Aged 41 years.

In memory of Joseph and Margaret, children of William and Margaret Grove.

North Wall Near this Place are deposited the Remains of Ralph Grove, Gent, an eminent Surgeon of this Borough, who died June 14th 1793. Aged 60 years.


Also of Elizabeth Grove his widow, eldest Daughter of William Raymond Esq. of Sibland in this parish.  She died May 2nd 1811 aged 84 years.

Stafford Chapel (floor – mostly hidden by pews) Here lyeth the Body of William Gwatkins, late of Thornbury, Gent.  Interred the 21st of December 1626.  Aged 80 years.


Also the Body of Moore Hill late of this parish, Gent, interred the 18 of September 1667.  Aged 84 years.


Also the Body of Dorothy, Wife of the said Moore Hill, and eldest daughter of the above said William Gwatkins, who died aged 70 years.


Also the Body of John Hill, late of Brintmarsh, Yeoman, son of Edward and Mary Hill, and grandson of the above named Moore Hill.  He died the 25th of April 1730, aged 67 years.

 
Chancel In memory of Richard Gwynn of this Town Gent who died May 26th 1846 aged 93 Years.


Also Ann Wife of ye above Richard Gwynn died Novr. 5th 1816 in the 62nd year of her age.
